How we make money

Down East Well Water is free for homeowners. We are paid a referral fee by the professional we match you with. This fee never increases the price you pay for your project.

The longer version: independent water treatment and testing professionals pay for introductions to homeowners who need their work. That referral relationship funds the site, the guides, and the matching. You pay the professional directly for the work itself, at the professional's own price, exactly as you would if you had found them any other way.

Two things we do not do. We do not mark up the professional's price, and we do not accept payment to steer you toward equipment you do not need. The editorial spine of this site is test first, treat second, because sizing treatment to a real lab number is the honest order of operations.
